Played in senior events, with many top ten finishes. Finished second In the Trevor Lagerwey Memorial in Springs, and second in the Natal U-23 tournament in Kloof Durban. Won the Transvaal betterball championships with Bobby Verwey Jr. at Glendower golf course, Johannesburg. |

Chosen for the Southern Transvaal and Transvaal U-23 provincial teams. The Transvaal team won the inter provincial team championships. Each member of the team was presented with a gold medal, which included myself, Ernie Els, Des Terblanche and many other successful touring professionals presently on tour. |
