Dear Friends:
More than a year has passed since you organized the tournament for my benefit, and yet I have had no chance to thank each one of you with all my heart. Your support and kind words gave me incredible strength and hope. I would like to take this opportunity to explain why, in spite of everything, I am no longer available as a golf instructor. During the six weeks in hospital, I had a lot of time to myself, to think and reflect on my life:
That God spared my life was a sign for me that my prayers were answered; to enable me to realize the dreams I had for most of my life. Also, my health has been going downhill steadily. Due to my rib cage injury never having completely healed, my lungs can no longer function optimally, and together with my asthma, my stamina is insufficient. Ultimately, in finding my soul mate, this has finally given me the strength and the courage to follow my true calling.
The fifteen years spent in Weng, were a long and wonderful time with you and I sincerely hope we do not lose sight of each other in the future. I still, from time to time and by request, will offer relaxed golf trips, or perhaps you may feel inclined to support me with my future projects. I hope to hear from all of you and wish you all a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.
With blessings and wishes from the bottom of my heart,
Your golf pro Steve
Christmas 2015
